Plenty of guns were shown in action and certainly look to be up to the old Doom standards of big and loud. Also showcased for the first time was a brand new demon power-up. Mid-match, players can apparently spawn a demon room and become a demon. As you can see, the demons absolutely dominate the gameplay and seem to fit the bill as an exciting new aspect. Along with becoming the demon, you can kill the demon and become one yourself. There were two different demons showcased, so this begs the question, how many different ones are there?

Doom will release on May 13th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It is the first release in the series since Doom 3 way, way back in 2004. Judging from the trailer, we are in store for some bloody, fast-paced action.
