Here is the recap of The International Dota 2 Main Event Day 3:
Upper Bracket:
LGD vs CDEC
It’s comes as no surprise that CDEC won the match with LGD 2-0. The Chinese “rising star” CDEC team already proved itself in past wildcards to group stage of The International. Despite of LGD’s gold and XP advantage, they were unable to capitalize on Game 1, which allowed CDEC to adapt and win Game 1.
Game 2 was a total destruction: LGD was demolished by CDEC (5-28) and will have to fight through Lower Bracket.
EG vs EHOME
Probably the best series of games for EG, as they won the match against EHOME after a Game 1 loss. The North American team, dubbed Evil Geniuses, looks solid as ever. A solid draft, well-coordinated playstyle and good communication was their key to winning the best-of-three match, sending EHOME to Lower Bracket.
Lower Bracket:
Virtus.Pro vs coL
The first match of day three started with a very intense game for Virtus.Pro, who eliminated CompLexity 2-1. Game 1 was close, and excited fans cheered for American team CompLexity, who took the win. After a 1 game deficit, Virtus.Pro managed to come back and win the match 2-1. This was one of the biggest comebacks in The International 2015 so far.
Team Secret vs Invitus Gaming (iG)
This match was dubbed a battle of champions, as both teams have title-holding members. In yet another comeback, Secret managed to win the match against iG 2-1, despite having a Game 1 loss. Secret finally got its momentum going for a full aggressive draft, winning the Game 2. Secret outsmarted iG in the drafting phase, tricking iG into thinking they were going use the same line-up for the last game. That got them the win for Game 3.
